“Feel Real Radio” was a unique, Outcrop-created and produced, weekly radio program (2013-15) featuring NWT youth and hosted by NWT youth leader Jacey Firth-Hagen of Inuvik. 50 episodes were broadcast on CKLB-FM and were also available as podcasts.  The 30-minute programs interviewed youth from small and large NWT communities, celebrated their achievements and helped to send the message that NWT youth don’t need alcohol and drugs to be truly awesome. The radio programs were backed by an Outcrop-created website with straight-up facts about drinking and drugs in the Northwest Territories.

Outcrop was contracted by Health and Social Services to develop a refreshed My Voice, My Choice social marketing campaign. This campaign focused on raising awareness and educating youth on issues including, substance use and abuse, mental wellness, creativity, goal setting, healthy living and relationships. This poster, which was displayed in schools and public spaces through out the NWT, promoted the radio broadcast and online tools available to youth.

The My Voice, My Choice website was used as a hub of information and tools available to youth in the NWT. It housed all 51 Feel Real Radio episodes as podcasts, access to social media and relevant information on alcohol, drugs, tobacco, relationships, eating and being active for both youth and parents of youth. Outcrop was contracted to create the site in 2013 and provide various updates until a full revitalization was implemented in 2015.
